Dolphins right guard Billy Turner heard the news this morning – free agent guard Evan Mathis is signing with Denver.
And Turner, who likely would lost his starting job if Mathis signed with the Dolphins, said he didn’t care.
“It wasn’t really a big deal to me,” Turner said Wednesday before practice. “I have one goal and one mindset, which is to get better.”
Turner, who appears slightly more embattled than left guard Dallas Thomas, said he thinks he’s been steady through two preseason games.
“I think I’ve played well,” he said. “I’ve improved on my pass protecteciton, which was a big goal of mine.
