Miami Dolphins general manager Chris Grier said that Tyreek Hill did not ask for a trade when he met recently with the wide receiver, who expressed his frustration after Sunday's season finale and hinted he may want to play elsewhere next season.
Grier said he and coach Mike McDaniel had "productive conversations" with the receiver this week but said Hill did not walk back his comments from Sunday. Hill pulled himself out of Sunday's 32-20 loss to the New York Jets in the fourth quarter.
McDaniel said he met with Hill for an hour on Monday and made it clear that it is "not acceptable" to leave the game and "won't be tolerated in the future.
