Comedian and notable Dolphins fan Daniel Tosh hedged during last night’s Patriots’ domination over the Dolphins.
He took New England -3.5 in the first half and and came out a winner when the Pats went into the half with a 19-0 shutout.
Why bet $25,000 against his hometown team? It was to raise money for friend and fellow comedian Andy Richter, who was diagnosed with a brain tumor.
Tosh went into it knowing it was a win-win.
“If my Dolphins are winning, I’m happy. If they’re losing, Andy gets some much needed help,” Tosh said earlier this week on an episode of his Comedy Central show, Tosh.
