DAVIE, Fla. -- Injuries are starting to pile up for the Miami Dolphins, and one missing player is starting tight end Jordan Cameron, who will miss Thursday night’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals with a concussion.
However, the Dolphins believe Dion Sims is one of their top backups on the roster. The four-year veteran is viewed by many within the team as a second starter.
Sims left college at Michigan State as a blocking tight end with plenty of size: He’s 6-foot-4, 271 pounds. But Sims has worked on becoming a better receiver at the position in order to get more playing time.
