Around this time last season, the Miami Dolphins were considered to be one of the best defenses in football, and then later they fell apart against the Denver Broncos in what was monikered the "Mile High Drop." All indications were that the Dolphins had fixed the defense and wouldn't have issues with the run defense, but the reality is it's gotten worse.
Last season, the Dolphins gave up an average of 121 rushing yards per game, which was the result of the games after Denver, and that was why the Dolphins signed Suh. This signing so far has not only not made the run defense better, it's actually gotten worse, as the Dolphins currently average 142.
