DAVIE – The Miami Dolphins didn’t want to slow cook DeVante Parker during his rookie season, but that has turned out to be the unintended course of action taken with Miami’s 2015 first-round pick.
And a coaching change apparently won’t alter that approach much.
Parker, who missed all of training camp because of the procedure he had done to his right foot in June, is finally fully healthy. He's begun to practice better, making more highlight worthy catches in practice.
But interim head coach Dan Campbell claims the Dolphins need to see “more consistency” from the former Louisville standout, who was one of six receivers taken in the first round of the 2015 draft.
