The Miami Dolphins have claimed cornerback Ifo Ekpre-Olomu off waivers from the Cleveland Browns.
The Browns, which selected the former Oregon standout in the seventh-round of the 2015 draft, waived Ekpre-Olomu during the weekend.
In 2014 Ekpre-Olomu was a consensus All-American and first-team All-Pac-12 selection. But he suffered season-ending knee injury in December during practice for Rose Bowl and it drastically hurt his draft stock.
Ekpre-Olomu, who is 5-foot-9 and 194 pounds, is accustomed to playing in the slot, which is where he could fit into the Dolphins defense.
