CARLSBAD, Calif. - Branden Albert might not be the only Miami Dolphins starting offensive lineman held out of Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Rams.
Mike Pouncey, the team's starting center, was held out of Thursday's practice because of his troublesome hip, which already kept the three-time Pro Bowler from playing in four games this season.
Pouncey pulled himself out of Wednesday's practice because of the hip issues, and was receiving treatment on Thursday.
Miami Dolphins coach Adam Gase admitted that the Dolphins are in the very early stages of evaluating Pouncey's hip issues, and are uncertain about what's the next step for the team's 2011 first-round pick, who has started 77 games for the Dolphins.
