Dolphins Celebrate Franchise’s 50 Years At Annual Luncheon

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – In attendance at Tuesday’s Miami Dolphins luncheon was a legacy of success, personified by some proud alumni, collided with hope for the future.

CBS4 Sports anchor and Dolphin alum Kim Bokamper summed it up.

“I think like myself a lot of fans are really excited about the prospects for this football team,” Bokamper said.

Before a packed house of fans at Miami’s Intercontinental Hotel, the 2015 Dolphins paraded out to warm introductions.

The players were flanked by cheerleaders, all except top draft pick DaVonte Parker, asking the crowd “where’s mine?”

After watching a film touting the Dolphins proud history, defensive star Cameron Wake talked of breaking the team’s seven year playoff drought.
