Dolphins players aren’t alone.
As the Dolphins opened training camp this week, more than 100 South Florida bikers also began their training regimen for Dolphins Cancer Challenge VII. The event is scheduled for Feb. 11, 2017, but the Dolphins Cancer Challenge (DCC) held its first training ride on Saturday morning.
Bikers left the Dolphins’ training facility at 7 a.m. and rode between 18 to 31 miles before returning to take in the team’s second practice of training camp. The DCC will host five training rides in preparation for DCC VII.
Along with getting physically fit for the big bike ride, the training rides help raise awareness for the DCC throughout South Florida.
