The Miami Dolphins are set to lose assistant offensive line coach Jeremiah Washburn, according to a report from the Chicago Tribune. He will become the Chicago Bears’ offensive line coach, replacing Dave Magazu, who, according to the Tribune, has been fired though the Bears have not yet announced the move.
Washburn joined Miami last year as first-year head coach Adam Gase built his coaching staff. He previously had served as the Detroit Lions offensive line coach and assistant line coach from 2009 to 2015.
The Dolphins last week were reported to have blocked an interview request from the Los Angeles Rams to consider offensive line coach Chris Foerster for their vacant offensive coordinator position.
