MIAMI (CBSMiami) – The Miami Dolphins are putting a new name on its biggest fundraiser of the year. The Dolphins Cycling Challenge is now called the Dolphins Cancer Challenge in order to emphasize the team’s commitment to fighting cancer.
The updated name reflects the goals and additional events created to fight cancer, starting with two Fall Family Fests in November and culminating with DCC VI, a tri-county bike ride and run/walk event, scheduled for February 20, 2016.
One hundred percent of the funds raised by participants go to fighting the disease.
