Dolphins adding veteran cornerback Chris Culliver

DAVIE - The Miami Dolphins will be signing the team's fourth cornerback since training camp opened, adding veteran cornerback Chris Culliver to address the team's most troublesome unit.

Culliver, who has started 26 games in four seasons he's played for the San Francisco 49ers and Washington Redskins, is recovering from an ACL and MCL tear he suffered last November.

The Redskins signed Culliver to a four-year, $32 million deal in 2015, but his injury, a suspension for violating the NFL's personal conduct policy, and Washington's signing of Josh Norman this offseason motivated that organization to release Culliver.
