The Miami Dolphins have brought back tight end Dominique Jones, according to his agent. The signing fills the roster spot created when the team waived Jamil Douglas earlier in the week. Jones spent the 2016 preseason with Miami.
Jones started his NFL career with the Indianapolis Colts in 2012, then split 2013 between the Colts and the Kansas City Chiefs. He played for the Denver Broncos in 2014. He has also spent time in training camp or on the practice squad with the Buffalo Bills, Baltimore Ravens, New York Giants, and Minnesota Vikings. He was undrafted out of Shepherd University in 2011.
