The Miami Dolphins signed free agent offensive linemen Kraig Urbik on Tuesday, the team announced. Urbik is the first natural guard the team signed this offseason.
Miami’s interior offensive line struggled with consistency last season both with run blocking and pass protection. Urbik has 57 career starts and will compete with holdover guards Dallas Thomas, Billy Turner and Jamil Douglas.
The Dolphins also signed free-agent offensive tackle Jermon Bushrod in free agency and plans to move the nine-year veteran inside to compete at guard.
