According to several in the media including James Walker of ESPN, the Dolphins claimed 24 year old Auburn alumni Avery Young. Young, a tackle spent last season with New Orleans injured after going undrafted. The Dolphins are hoping he will compete with and push Anthony Steen and add depth behind Laremy Tunsil.
To make room for Young the team waived/non-football injury cornerback Daniel Davie.
The moves come on the heels of a new contract with Koa Misi that is somewhat of a major head scratcher.
It was reported earlier that Misi had restructured his contract. Set to count $4.
