After serving an eight game suspension, T.J. McDonald has been activated by the Dolphins. He will take the roster spot that opened when Ja’Wuan James was placed on IR. McDonald is expected to play on Monday night against the Panthers.
How good is McDonald? That is what everyone wants to know. He looked very good in pre-season but the Dolphins have yet to have him on the field in any meaningful capacity. Yet they liked what they saw so much they decided to sign him to extension without ever seeing him on the regular season field.
Hard hitting, McDonald is expected to bring a tough mindset to the defense that already has Reshad Jones in the deep secondary.
