How the Miami Dolphins got here, to this point, started long before the season did. With free agent signings, new contracts, and a slew of firings, Miami was to say the least, busy in 2015. The Dolphins started off the 2015 year with a whimper. Stephen Ross had already announced that Joe Philbin would be safe following last seasons Vikings home victory. That only left questions about the fate of his staff.
Philbin didn’t address the staff concerns to the media. Neither supporting them or terminating them. Instead he stayed the course of quietness and readied for the season.
