DAVIE - The Miami Dolphins began this week of practice with Brice McCain returning to the practice field, and DeVante Parker sidelined during Monday's session.
McCain, who has missed the past two games because of a right knee injury, did individual drills and worked with Miami's starters. His return should fortify a secondary that has held opposing quarterbacks to 93.7 passer rating.
Parker, the Dolphins' 2015 first-round pick, attended Monday's practice but was held out of the action for undisclosed reasons.
Parker injured his surgically repaired left foot during Thursday night's 36-7 loss to the New England Patriots, but the rookie receiver and the Dolphins have both downplayed the injury.
