South Florida’s Super Bowl Bid Committee is calling in a heavyweight in its battle to land one of the three title games that will be awarded next week, relying on the Dolphins’ Hall of Fame fullback to make its presentation to NFL owners in Charlotte, North Carolina.
“We wanted something totally different,” Rodney Barreto, chairman of the South Florida committee, told The Post.
Csonka, a fullback on the Dolphins’ two Super Bowl-winning teams (out of three) and MVP of Super Bowl VII, is a longtime legendary pitchman, whether it’s via his outdoors programs from Alaska or long-running commercials for Miller Lite.
