Dolphins interim coach Dan Campbell knows his defense can only do much — and that’s what made him so frustrated a day after the Dolphins’ 24-14 loss to Dallas.
The defense played well for most of the game but faltered down the stretch, forced to play for nearly 39 minutes.
The offense had just nine first downs and held the ball for little more than 21 minutes.
Campbell on Monday called out Miami’s offense which is scoring just 20.5 points per game — 26th of 32 NFL teams.
“That’s a hard way to live,” Campbell said.
