Several Miami Dolphins are wearing custom cleats for Sunday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens, and doing so for good causes. But the cleats seem to be having an impact on many players’ on-field performance.
The most notable Dolphins player to take part in the NFL’s “My Cause My Cleats” initiative, which allows players to reflect their commitments to charitable foundations of their choice through custom cleats, is wide receiver Jarvis Landry.
Early on in Sunday’s contest, Landry’s cleats, along with poor field conditions, seemed to have an effect on his ability to keep his footing while making cuts.
