The issues swirling around the NFL and its handling of the CTE problem just keep going deeper and deeper.
Four members of Congress want the NFL to turn over documents and information on why it tried to stop Dr. Robert Stern, a longtime critic of the league, from leading a Boston University study on football and brain disease, ESPN reported.
That accusation is consistent with comments made by leading CTE research proponent Chris Nowinski to The Post this week. Nowinski went so far as to call NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell a liar for the way he has handled CTE.
