DAVIE (CBSMiami) – Training Camp usually sees a good amount of players come and go on a team’s roster, and that has rung true so far with the Miami Dolphins.
On Wednesday the team announced that they have signed veteran cornerback Chris Culliver to a one-year deal worth $2.5 million, but with incentives he can earn as much as $5 million.
Culliver was then immediately placed on the PUP list despite being cleared to resume physical activity by Dr. Robert Andrews, his physician.
The 27-year-old is coming off of a torn ACL and MCL suffered last November and will likely remain off the field until at least late October, but that won’t be known until players can be played on the regular season PUP list following the third preseason game.
