It was that smile. It was that laugh. It was those off-the-cuff one-liners that made placekicker Garo Yepremian one of the most colorful players in the history of the Miami Dolphins.
And, oh yes, he could also kick a football awfully well to boot.
Garo Yepremian passed away Friday of cancer. He was still a very young 70 years old. The little bald man who was such a big part of the Dolphins’ success in the early 1970’s had an impact on so many lives in so many different ways.
