DAVIE, Fla. -- It’s safe to say DeVante Parker’s tenure in Miami hasn’t gone according to plan since they drafted the receiver in the first round in 2015.
But the Dolphins hoped that this season would be different, that it would be Parker’s breakout year. Instead, Parker has spent most of the last two months shelved by injuries.
It's frustrating, and often out of Parker's control, but four years in the clock is starting to tick on Parker to rewrite the narrative to his Dolphins tenure.
Dolphins coach Adam Gase pulled Parker aside at the start of Friday's practice in an attempt to keep his spirits high despite an injury-plagued start to the season.
