Johnson was signed by the Dolphins in June of 2012, but lasted only two months before getting released after a domestic violence arrest in August of that year. He never played a down for Miami, but the local product out of Miami Beach High still keeps tabs on the Dolphins, and made the above comment when discussing the current group of receivers for the team: Greg Jennings, Jarvis Landry, DeVante Parker, and Kenny Stills.
Note the emphasis on route running, which is something the team, and especially head coach Joe Philbin, also values. The team specifically looked for that trait when they traded for Stills, signed Jennings, and drafted Parker.
