The Dolphins struck gold when they imported a defensive lineman named Cameron Wake from the Canadian Football League.
Now they’re doubling down.
Reports out of Canada are that the Dolphins have agreed to a three-year deal with defensive lineman Cleyon Laing.
Laing played last season for the Toronto Argonauts, who have ceased to list him on their roster.
Laing is a 6-foot-3, 280-pounder who is 25 years old out of Iowa State, although he was born in Edmonton.
In 16 games for the Argos last season, he had 40 tackles, eight sacks and two forced fumbles.
