So now that Dan Campbell has the Dolphins interim coaching job the focus turns to whether this team can sprint to an 8-4, or even 9-3 finish, and make the playoffs.
It’s doubtful. It’d require one of the biggest single-season turnarounds in franchise history.
But it could be done.
The biggest key is the defensive line.
If the Dolphins (1-3) are to have success they’ve got to be led by the defensive line.
That’s where the most game-changing the talent is on this team, and it hasn’t showed. They only have one sack and they’ve been trampled in run defense.
