I love the Miami Dolphins. I always have and always will. But from time to time, the coaching decisions quite frankly befuddle me. Rishard Matthews is one of these examples. The unwillingness to use him in their offense is egregious. I am not an insider so I cannot tell you if Matthews just doesn’t understand the Lazor offense, or if he isn’t a Philbin favorite. Is he an inept or unwilling blocker? The fact remains; Matthews has demonstrated toughness, hands, and he did produce when given the opportunity. I was not a fan of former offensive coordinator Mike Sherman’s predictable and boring offense, but he did see the potential of Matthews and found ways to get him the ball.
