Doughty, off the heels of an impressive training camp has survived final cuts (for now), showed the Dolphins enough to justify keeping him on the final roster and carrying three quarterbacks into the regular season.
Doughty was again impressive, showing poise and accuracy against the Titans in the team’s final preseason game. When head coach Adam Gase was asked to assess his young signal caller’s performance, it was clear he was pleased: “Yes. He did a good job.
