Another Late Blown Lead Leaves Dolphins, Gase Feeling Lousy

DAVIE (CBSMiami/AP) — A dark cloud literally and figuratively hung over the Miami Dolphins Training Facility in Davie on Monday.

Adam Gase wore his cap with the bill tugged even lower than usual, as if trying to avoid looking at the big picture.

It’s not pretty. His Miami Dolphins (5-6) have lost six of their past eight games, including two in a row, to fall below .500 for the first time in 2018.

And now they’ve earned a reputation for blowing double-digit fourth-quarter leads.

They did it for the second time this season Sunday, when Indianapolis erased a 10-point deficit in the final 8½ minutes to win 27-24.
