It is critical to read the fine-print of any contract, and NFL contracts are no exception.
The Miami Dolphins turned in Ryan Tannehill's alleged six-year, $96 million contract extension to the NFL this week and the details began trickling out on Thursday afternoon.
Plenty of discoveries were made, like the fact the deal is for $95,272,000, and not $96 million. So agent Pat Dye rounded up. That's no biggie.
However, the initial reports were that the deal featured $45 million of the contract being "fully guaranteed." That's not accurate considering $21.5 million of the contract is fully guaranteed.
