There have been rumors that the Dolphins have been looking to move their training center for months now. Those rumors broke when attempts to bring the World Cup back to the U.S. included a blurb about the Dolphins training center. Now it appears that the move is gaining steam.
According to a tweet by Will Manso, Sports Director at WPLG Local 10 in South Florida, an approval has been made by the Miami-Dade county commission that paves the way for the move.
Miami-Dade county commission approves resolution to amend the county’s current stadium deal with the Dolphins to provide team additional subsidy ($750,000 per year) to build new training facility next to Hard Rock Stadium.
