MIAMI (CBSMiami/AP) — The Miami Dolphins are used to being crowned the ‘offseason champs’ but that is far from the case this year.
The Dolphins will remain in the market for a running back after their second failed courtship this week.
Former NFL rushing champion Chris Johnson visited the Dolphins on Thursday, but agreed to terms on a one-year contract to stay with the Arizona Cardinals.
Last week the Dolphins signed C.J. Anderson to an $18 million, four-year offer sheet, but the Denver Broncos matched it Tuesday.
