Call the signing of Escobar an insurance policy should the Dolphins top tight-end targets be off the board when the Dolphins are on the clock in rounds two, three, and four.
Escobar was a former 2nd round pick in the 2013 NFL Draft by the Dallas Cowboys and since his arrival in the league he has been largely dissappointing. His rookie season saw only nine receptions for 134 yards and two touchdowns. Sadly that has been his best career season in the NFL.
Former second-round tight end signs with Dolphins, but is he a legit NFL player?
