4 Dolphins Kneel For National Anthem, Seahawks Lock Arms

SEATTLE (CBSMiami) — Four members of the Miami Dolphins chose to kneel during the national anthem at Sunday’s game in Seattle, while the Seahawks stood together in unity.

Newly acquired running back Arian Foster, wide receiver Kenny Stills, linebacker Jelani Jenkins and safety Michael Thomas all took a knee as a member of the U.S. armed forces sung the Star Spangled Banner.

The protest comes as San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick initial protest continues to reverberate around the league.

In a show of unity, the Seattle Seahawks locked arms together, including their head coach Pete Carroll, during the anthem.
