The Dolphins had their first day of mandatory minicamp on a hot Tuesday in Davie. The team began with activities starting inside the bubble for the first forty minutes before moving outside at the Doctors Hospital Training Facility. Players worked on a plethora of individual up-tempo drills in both the individual periods and the team periods.
Here are my takeaways from today’s practice:
1) Tempo – It was very evident today that players on offense, defense and special teams brought a lot of energy to the field. There was an obvious difference in the speed from the OTA’s to minicamp.
