The Miami Dolphins have made their first selection on Day 2 of the 2021 NFL Draft, using the 36th overall pick to add Oregon safety Jevon Holland. He gives Miami a true safety to play in the back of the defense, with the versatility to play as a free- or strong-safety, as well as a big nickel player covering the slot.
In three years at Oregon, Holland appeared in 27 games as a freshman and sophomore before opting out for his junior year. He recorded 108 tackles, 10 passes defensed and 9 interceptions with a touchdown.
