Miami’s two player deal also included LB Kiko Alonso but Maxwell was supposed to be the star of that trade. Things didn’t quite work out early for Maxwell, a former star CB on Seattle’s stellar defense.
2016 Review:
To start the 2016, the Miami Dolphins depleted their starting cornerbacks, as both starters were given their pick slips and cut from the team. The Dolphins wanted to bring in fresh blood and players that would fit their schema. By stating that, the Dolphins made headlines, by trading their 8th overall selection to Philadelphia for Bryon Maxwell, Kiko Alonso and the 12th overall selection.
