One of the top defensive ends left on the market has signed. According to Ian Rapoport, former Detroit Lions DE Jason Jones will sign with the Miami Dolphins.

The Dolphins have Mario Williams and Cam Wake as their starting DEs, but needed depth. Jones is a borderline starting DE, although he's limited as a pass rusher. He's coming off a 4.5 sack season, but has never topped five in a season.
Terms of the contract have not yet been announced. The move comes just a day after the deadline for compensatory pick passed. That means the signing of Jones won't affect the Dolphins' compensatory picks from this season.
Jones was a second round pick by the Tennessee Titans out of Eastern Michigan. The soon-to-be 30-year-old has played for the Titans, Seahawks, Lions and now Dolphins in his NFL career.
