Changes Coming For The Dolphins' Offensive Line

The Miami Dolphins offensive line has struggled this season, but changes are coming. Those changes start with the shuffling the starters, according to Phinmaniacs.com

Left tackle Branden Albert, who the Dolphins signed to a 5-year, $47-million deal last season, is practicing, although he is questionable this week.

"We brought him here for a reason last year and he’s a great player for us." Ryan Tannehill told Phinmaniacs of Albert. "He really seals up that left side for me and having him back will be a luxury both in the pass and run game.”

A second change could come in the form of Billy Turner, a third round pick a season ago. Turner will battle with rookie Jamil Douglas for a starting spot at guard.

“Billy worked in today with the starters and we’re just going to see how he progresses this week and Jamil [Douglas] is working at it too," interim head coach Dan Campbell said. "We like both of those guys, they both deserve an opportunity to compete for the job and we’ll see what happens.”

The Dolpins offensive line has done a good job of protecting Tannehill or opening up holes for RB Lamar Miller, so it's not surprising to see changes occur under Campbell.
