In today's Dolphins news update, the Miami Dolphins and their legendary former starting quarterback Dan Marino can't find common ground when it comes to a potential role for Marino with the franchise.
Per David Steele of the Sporting News, "Marino’s stumble into and out of the most recent concussion lawsuit this week left him with the label of being a waffler, incapable of being decisive or committed. Yet that’s not even the worst outcome from the lawsuit debacle: The Hall of Fame quarterback and Miami Dolphins icon looks like he has no idea where he belongs in the NFL, and nobody else knows, either."
As Miami Herald columnist Armando Salguero indicates these next tweets, the Dolphins want to do business with Marino - but don't know how as of yet -
For those more interested in football than litigation, Dan Marino and the Dolphins have so far been unable to figure out role with team.

The Dolphins clearly would love Marino as a face that bring legitimacy and recollection of better times. Think PR, marketing value.

The feeling is Dan Marino would like a role with some actual power.

Marino was released from his job as an NFL analyst for CBS in February, meaning that if the Dolphins can find some sort of role which both suits them and his aims, this may just be a temporary impasse between the sides.
