In Dolphins rumors today, the Miami Dolphins could be looking to find starting quarterback Ryan Tannehill a new weapon at wide receiver in the middle rounds of the 2014 NFL Draft.
So tweets Tom Pelissaro, NFL writer for USA Today Sports:
Speedy Wyoming WR Robert Herron, who just visited #Saints, visits #Panthers on Sunday. (They worked him out last week, too.) #Dolphins next.

NFL Draft analysts have rated Herron as high as a second round pick, and as low as a fourth or fifth round pick in May's NFL Draft. As CBSSports.com describes him, Herron is a "big-play specialist who blends impressive straight-line speed, good body control and toughness." His tool set has impressed many NFL scouts in his time in Wyoming all the way through the 2014 NFL Combine.
CBSSports.com also noted that Herron does not have "ideal size," standing at just five-foot-nine. However, if the Dolphins find his other attributes to be worth it, they will find no qualms in drafting an undersized receiver as a target for Tannehill.
