New Miami Dolphins vice president Mike Tannenbaum told radio station WQAM earlier this week that he wants to make the "responsible" decision about polarizing wide receiver Mike Wallace, opting to hear what Wallace has to say before making a decision on his future.
"I want to go down there and be a good listener," Tannenbaum told WQAM, via the Sun-Sentinel. "Two sides to every story."
Wallace is slated to make $9.85 million next year. If the Dolphins decide to release him, they will suffer a $5.2 million salary cap hit. In addition, Wallace is guaranteed $3 million of salary if he's on the team's roster when the league year officially begins in March.

"We'll make the most responsible decision for us possible," Tannenbaum said.
As for Wallace, he also has no clue what 2015 will have in store for him.
"I'm not the general manager or anything, or the head coach," Wallace said last month. "I'm not sure."
Wallace caught 67 balls for 862 yards and 10 touchdowns this past season.
