Miami Dolphins offensive tackle Branden Albert has plenty of work ahead of him this offseason, with a long rehabilitation process upcoming after he suffered a torn ACL and MCL in a game against the Detroit Lions on November 9th.
Albert plans on remaining in Miami all offseason long to start the long road to recovery.
"I'll be here the whole offseason," he said recently, via Kirk Larrabee of 247Sports. "I have a good training staff and we're working every day, and I'm going to keep pushing."

After seeing his team go 3-4 without him and fail to make the playoffs with an 8-8 record, Albert said it was hard to sit back and not be able to lend a hand.
"It was rough watching the games and knowing you could be able to help your team and can't do nothing about it," Albert said. "It took a toll on me, but things happen in football. I couldn't be there to help my team, but I still have a future ahead of me to help this team out next year and that's what I'm going to do."
Albert's recovery time was quoted at 9-12 months at the time of his injury, making a return for the team's 2015 regular-season opener a possibility. However, Albert isn't looking to commit to such a timeline.
"My goal is to be helping this team," Albert said. "I don't know when. I'm not going to set myself up for anything like that... Whenever it's time for me to step up, I'll step up."
