Mike Wallace's time with the Miami Dolphins has been a roller-coaster ride at best, with emotions coming to a reported boiling point during the team's season finale loss to the New York Jets.
As reported by SBNation's Kevin Nogle, "from various sources, it appears Wallace and a coach had an argument either near the end of the first half or during halftime. Wallace was then benched for the second half of the game. During the post-game interviews, Wallace stood with fellow wide receiver Brandon Gibson next to him, and refused to answer questions. Instead, Gibson answered for Wallace."

Gibson would later remark that he was trying to save the mercurial Wallace from saying something publicly that he'd later regret professionally.
During the game, Wallace was targeted just once and finished without a reception. Per several eyewitness reports, the veteran receiver wasn't giving his all on every play which likely led to both the reported argument and his benching for the second half.
The Dolphins finish the 2014 season at 8-8 for the second-straight campaign, with Wallace was one of the many questions the team will need to answer this offseason.
