In tonight's edition of Dolphins news, former Miami Dolphins tight end Jermichael Finley will be having an X-ray on his injured neck on Monday in order to see if he can make it back in time for the 2014 NFL season.
Per Josh Alper of Pro Football Talk, "according to Tom Pelissero of USA Today, that X-ray will be done in Arizona on Monday with MRI and CAT scans to follow if all looks good on the X-ray. Pelissero reports that Finley is “on track,” but that it remains “unclear” when he’ll be given the green light by doctors to resume his career."
The Dolphins have been reported as a potential option to regain the services of the former Green Bay Packers standout tight end, along with the Seattle Seahawks and New York Jets.
Of course everything is subject to how these teams attack their needs at the tight end position come raft time, but Finley should have no trouble finding a place to play if everything comes back clear on Monday.
