The Dolphins rumors around who the Miami Dolphins will select in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft continue to grow. The Dolphins have the 11th overall pick of the draft and after finishing 6-10 last season and have plenty of holes that need to be addressed. With Miami shedding salary all offseason by trading Jarvis Landry and cutting Ndamukong Suh, they're looking to rebuild through the draft. If the Dolphins want to get back into the playoffs in 2018, here are three positions they need to consider in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft.

1.) Linebacker
The Dolphins need to add talented depth at the linebacker position. There is solid talent at the top of this year's class and they're hoping either Virginia Tech linebacker Tremaine Edmunds or Georgia's Roquan Smith slips to them. Outside of Kiko Alonso and Lawrence Timmons, the Dolphins had poor play from the linebacker position last year - and they have already released Timmons. Adding depth at linebacker will take pressure off their front four and help create pressure on opposing quarterbacks.
2.) Offensive Tackle
The Dolphins had one of the worst offensive lines in the league last season and, after not making any major additions in free agency, they will almost be forced to draft an offensive tackle early in the draft. If the Dolphins want to keep Ryan Tannehill healthy in 2018, they will need to upgrade his protection. Notre Dame offensive tackle Mike McGlinchey, one of the top linemen in the draft, is someone Miami could be targeting.
3.) Quarterback
Until the Dolphins find a reliable quarterback, Miami will not win games. Ryan Tannehill missed the 2017 season with a torn ACL and Matt Moore and Jay Cutler played horribly in 2017. Miami has been heavily linked to Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield in the pre-draft process. Why not draft the Heisman trophy winner? Baker can handle the spotlight in Miami because he thrives in big moments and loves the attention. The only question is if he'll still be available at No. 11.
