It's a new era for the Miami Dolphins, as head coach Adam Gase is tasked with turning around a team that's battled disappointment for the last few years. Expectations are tempered around the Dolphins this year, but a few underrated players could help push them towards a playoff berth. Here are the three most underrated players on the Dolphins in 2016.
3. WR Jarvis Landry
Landry set the NFL record for most catches in his first two seasons, but he doesn't get a ton of love nationally (well, outside of PPR fantasy football leagues). He caught 110 catches in a Pro Bowl year last season, but he's still flying under the radar a bit. With Adam Gase in town, Landry could take another step forward and get more respect. He's like a younger version of Emmanuel Sanders (who I love).
2. S Reshad Jones
For some baffling reason, Jones was a Pro Bowl Alternate last year and not an outright Pro Bowl selection. He should have been, as he was the Dolphins' best defensive player last season. One of the best safeties in the NFL, Jones can play the run and the pass. After 135 tackles (fourth in the NFL and first among DBs) and five picks, Jones should get some more love this year.

1. RB Jay Ajayi
When the Dolphins added Arian Foster, many expected him to take over the feature back duties in Miami. I'm not so sure. Ajayi showed real promise last year as a fifth round pick. If it wasn't for knee worries, he could have gone two, or even three, rounds higher. He's a talented runner when healthy. With Foster still recovering from his own injuries, Ajayi could get the bulk of the carries. Don't be surprised if Foster is more of a third down or change-of-pace back, with Ajayi starring as the focal runner.
